The Overextended Builder

I have so much energy. Why am I exhausted?

Your energy is meant to build, create, and light up the world with ease and desire (if it feels forced, it’s not right). When you’re doing what genuinely excites you, you generate more energy for yourself and everyone around you.

But somewhere along the way, your nervous system learned that you’re worthy when you’re useful to others, regardless of whether you don’t feel fulfilled doing it.

So instead of following what lights you up, you may have learned to:

  • say yes out of duty

  • abandon your preferences

  • get praised for compromising

  • overcommit your energy to others

And over time, your sacral life force gets drained because you chronically say “yes” when you should say “no.”

This creates the loop of:

overgiving → depletion → frustration → shutdown

Living this loop over and over again builds frustration because your sparkly energy has nowhere to truly shine

  • You’re led by the sacral — the center of creativity, desire, and life force.

Your body communicates through visceral yes/no responses, not logic.

    But conditioning often taught you:

    • you should do things you don’t enjoy

    • desire is selfish

    • rest must be earned

    • saying no disappoints people

So your nervous system stopped trusting that following the desire is safe.

  • Overriding your gut → saying yes when it’s a no → life force depletion.

  • Rebuilding trust with your sacral responses and allowing desire to lead again.

The right opportunities, people, and paths are always sending you things to respond to — your only job is to feel what’s actually a yes.

Every true sacral yes restores energy. Every misaligned yes drains it.

When you start saying no to what depletes you, you create space for what lights you up and everyone benefits.
